Media Composer 101 – Lesson 16 – Bin Views

Media Composer 101 - Lesson 16 - Bin Views 1

In this lesson, Kevin P McAuliffe talks about Bin Views inside of Avid Media Composer.  Bin Views are how you are going to see the most important information about your clips, depending on the editing situation you are currently working in, so that the relevant information is displayed to you, and you can keep your edit moving as smoothly as possible.

In this lesson, in our continuing look at Avid Media Composer, Kevin P McAuliffe talks about Bin Views.  Bin Views are different settings in your bin that will display different information about your clips, depening on the editing situation you are in.  Kevin shows you why the default Bin Views are probably not the best choice for beginner and advanced Media Composer editors, and he also shows you how to create your own Bin Columns, so that you can really tailor the infomation that is shown, to make ever edit go as smoothly as possible!
