Media Composer 101 – Lesson 15 – Introduction to Bins

Media Composer 101 - Lesson 15 - Introduction to Bins 1

In this lesson, Kevin P McAuliffe talks about Bins, the best naming convention to start out with, and how to quickly and easily search for bins in your Media Composer projects.

In this lesson, in our continuing look at Avid Media Composer, we start our talk about Bins.  Bins are the cornerstone of your project, and not only where you will store all the assets required to finish your projects, but also where you will orgainze yourself, to make sure your edits run as smoothly as possible.  Not only will we cover the basics, how to create bins, but we’ll also talk about how to search out bins, which is especially important in larger projects, so you can always find what you need, as quickly as possible.
