Join the Conversation on TMC 1

Transmedia Coalition officially launched on March 4th to great success with content from a set of fantastic contributors from around the world. Already you can check out entries from: Kate McCallum, Chris Pfaff, Nuno BernardoAnita Ondine, Michael Magee, Maya Zuckerman, Robert Pratten, Matt Doherty and Mattia Nicoletti; and stay tuned for more writers who will contribute to the site very soon.

As Anita Ondine said in her “What is Transmedia” piece, “transmedia is about evolving the way we tell stories to more accurately reflect the consumption habits of our audiences, by delivering independent yet connected stories across multiple media platforms”. That transformation has allowed audiences to influence and participate in the process in a way that was never possible. In the spirit of participation, we want to give our audience every opportunity to communicate with our contributors and form a dynamic community.

You have the ability to comment on every article that is published here. You will need to register as a member first, but once you do your comments will become part of articles’ dialogue and will never expire. Signing up also gives you the opportunity to stay up to date with Transmedia Coalition updates, by receiving our newsletter straight to your inbox.

Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @transmediaTMC and take advantage of the official Transmendia Coalition hashtag, #TMCO, so you can easily tag and search for relevant articles and news from TMC. Most of our writers have active Twitter pages so you can always find out what they are working on and engage in conversation. Follow TMC on Twitter.

Additionally, the Pro Coalitions just established a Facebook page that pulls updates and articles from all of the Pro Coalitions for your convenience.  You'll find TMC-related entries here, but will also be able to see what is going on in the video, photo and DAM world through content aggregated from ProVideo Coalition, ProPhoto Coalition and DAM Coalition. You'll be able to comment, share or like these updates in order to let your own communities know what’s going on in these spaces.

Our Google+ community is setup in the same fashion, so join us there, too.

Our goal is to create a community that is as dynamic as possible, whether that means commenting on an article, receiving a newsletter, following us on Twitter or becoming a fan of our Facebook page, we want to create an environment that allows you to contribute in the way that works best for you. Please reach out via email at info@procoalitions.com if you have any suggestions on how we can improve the community, or if there are other opportunities or content you would like to see more of.
