Ki Pro is an all-new way of connecting production and post. Finally, shoot on the same codec as you edit with, Apple ProRes 422, built natively into KiPro’s stand-alone, portable hardware.
With its extensive analog and digital connectivity, virtually any video and audio source can be fed into KiPro. It also includes AJA’s powerful 10-bit realtime up/down/cross conversion, enabling instantaneous recording of SD or HD from any camera format.
Record 10bit ProRes media to a removable Storage Module with built-in FireWire 800, or to 34mm ExpressCard Flash – both instantly mount on your OSX desktop for immediate editing and file access.
Ki Pro is tough and rugged, yet small and portable, designed for real production environments. Powered through an industry standard 4-pin XLR, you have flexible AC and battery options. Use Ki Pro on a table, or mate it between your camera and tripod via a bulletproof optional aluminum cage, complete with sliding baseplate and accommodation for 15mm rods.

About Gary Adcock:
Gary Adcock is the principal at Studio37 Inc., an HD and Film Consultancy based in Chicago, IL. Gary’s duties have included serving as Technical Chair of NAB’s Post Production for HD Solutions and since 2007 he has served as Technical Chairman of NAB’s Director of Photography Conference.
As an internationally known speaker and technology consultant, Gary is well know in the Production and Post community having consulted with companies including Visional Research, Sony, Panasonic and JVC on imaging and workflows, and with Apple, Adobe and others on emerging post and production technologies. Gary is regarded as an established industry leader in Acquisition and OnSet Technology for film and video production.
Gary has been speaking for at industry events as a writer and moderator on Creative Cow.net, as well as a contributing writer for MacWorld LLC, ProVideoCoalition.com and other publications, as well as evangelizing for High Definition Broadcast and Production as the Keynote speaker for the HDTV initiative Launch in Taipei, Taiwan (August 2006), participated in Sony’s Playstation 3 Launch in Europe in March 2007 and spoke on HD Post Production workflows at the 2007 Arab Media Conference in Dubai.
His is current personal creative project is an HD production on the Art of Italian Glassmakers for release in 2010
