Disrepair Gets Organized For Production

Disrepair Gets Organized For Production 1

Gnarlynow Entertainment – the production company headed by Producer-Director Bryan H. Carroll – has announced that his next feature film, Disrepair will begin production in October. A chilling tale of a serial killer on the loose, Disrepair was inspired by the infamous BTK Killer case, a decades-long murder spree in the Midwest that kept police and residents on the edge for over 30 years.

Carroll has brought on Emmy-nominated commercial and music video director Chris Folkens to take the helm on Disrepair, whose work includes the Emmy-nominated PSA Team World Vision, Microsoft’s Tag Reader, Facebook’s Mob Wars game, and Basic Needs for the American Red Cross. Folkens’ music videos include The Lifeline: TRILOGY, a trilogy of music videos for which he won a Silver Telly Award (http://bit.ly/IDun5w).

Bryan H. Carroll, who will produce the film, states, “When I read the script, I immediately picked up the phone and called Chris. I had been looking for a script that would fit into Chris’s style and this was it. It’s like Silence of the Lambs meets Seven. I was familiar with Chris’ unique talent and vision and saw that this has all the makings of a classic, terrifying serial killer story.”

Gnarlynow Entertainment has a number of other projects in its queue, including a feature film and feature documentary based on the life of Ed “Iron Man” Kretz, the motorcycle racer who became a legend for his heroic and often death-defying races.
