Blackmagic has released the full version of DaVinci Resolve 20 in what feels like record time after its announcement at NAB this year. This includes both DaVinci Resolve Studio as well as the free version of DaVinci Resolve. This was a pretty good turnaround from when Resolve 20 was announced right before the start of NAB 2025. We’re not even at the first of June yet! This update was a big release, and I’ve played with it a good bit since the beta. There’s a lot here for Blackmagic to be proud of.
DaVinci Resolve for iPad also received an update, taking it to version 20 as well. That bullet point feature list is at the bottom, and it’s not as extensive because Resolve for iPad doesn’t have all of the different pages that the desktop version does. But if you use Resolve for iPad, you get a lot of good new stuff in this update, though honestly I can’t see how to use some of it since Resolve for iPad has no menus!
