Blackmagic Adds Updates To DaVinci Resolve 12.5.6

While Blackmagic continues to find and fix all the little bugs in the DaVinci Resolve 14 before officially releasing it from public beta testing they have taken the time to update the current version of Resolve 12.5. This Resolve 12.5 update by Blackmagic Design is mostly about adding new firmware to the DaVinci Resolve Micro and Mini panels, which is a great thing. I currently am reviewing the Mini Panel and love it so far. It is definitely a great tool that helps color grading to be more enjoyable and quicker.

Otherwise, this may be the last update to Resolve 12.5. In this one users not only get added support for the Micro and Mini panels but added support for  Color Boost in 3D LUT generation. For those of us making our own 3D LUTs and using them on monitor/recorders like the 4K Video Assist this will be helpful. Also, mattes managed correctly helps DaVinci Resolve be more of an editor. Without mattes working well imported files from Adobe Photoshop or other graphics programs might not show up correctly. See the full list of added features below:
