Designed to be part of an integrated presentation system, both the Altinex TNP601 and TNP602 interconnect boxes can be mounted into a table, podium, or other furniture surface to provide a convenient means of connecting one’s laptop to a multimedia presentation system in just seconds. These innovative, highly functional interconnect boxes are accessible by pushing down on the top cover. The units then auto-tilt open with help from their internal pneumatic spring. Similarly, the input plates can be hidden by pressing down on the top cover until the latching mechanism engages. In their closed position, the top panel lies flush with the tabletop. These two units ship with a standard top and bezel featuring a high quality matte black finish. Other finishes or special bezel configurations are available upon request. All signals pass through the underside of the table for an uncluttered appearance that keeps cables out of sight.
The Altinex TNP601 Tabletop Interconnect Box is fully configurable for a variety of sectional plates. The TNP601 ships as an empty enclosure with a frame that is ready to accept sectional plates offered by Altinex. Designed to accommodate any AV configuration, the TNP601 can be stocked with connectors for AC power, computer video (15pin HD), composite video (RCA), audio (RCA), computer audio (3.5mm stereo), phone/modem (RJ11), RS-232 (9pin D-sub), and network (RJ45).
The TNP602 Tabletop Interconnect Box is a pre-configured system package that covers many common AV setups. When ordered, the TNP602 ships as a completely assembled product consisting of one TNP600 interconnect box and the DS801-429 sectional plate. The DS801-429 includes the following connectors: 4 standard U.S. power receptacles, 1 composite video (RCA female to female), 1 left audio (RCA female to female), 1 right audio (RCA female to female), 1 S-video (4-pin Mini-Din female to male), 1 telephone (RJ11 female to male), 3 network (RJ45 female to male), 2 computer/MP3 audio (3.5mm female to male), 2 VGA computer video (15-pin HD female to male), and 2 control (USB female to male). All connectors have 6 foot cables attached that feed through to the bottom of the unit. The power cable is 10 feet long. The unit can also be customized with different connections and colors.
