The new research and development office expands the company’s software development efforts and is headed by storage industry veteran, Venkat Ramakrishnan, Active Storage’s vice president of engineering.

The success of the company’s mMedia Platform, and tremendous positive user feedback drove the need for increased software development and the opening of the Northern California facility.
