About the developers

Hedge for Mac was created by Paul Matthijs Lombert, Roelof de Koning and Boy van Amstel.

The first seed for Hedge was planted in 2013 by Paul Matthijs while working on Dutch documentary Als je me echt zou kennen… He noticed that the shoot’s assistant spent most of his time transferring footage. Thinking this was a waste of talent, Paul teamed up with Boy and Roelof to create some code which would automate the no-brainer tasks.

In 2015, the Hedge for Mac team set up shop in Amsterdam. With the help of their investors, they now strive to improve the lives of everyone working with video. They focus on connecting different processes, from shooting video to post production, by creating software that makes it easy to collaborate. Hedge is just the beginning.
